They are responsible for the health of every patient in the hospital. Their duties include doing rounds with staff at shift change, induction and monitoring of surgery patients, drawing lab samples, radiology, medical treatment and patient records, and maintaining of IV catheters all of the duties of an assistant (keep rooms, front and back house clean, walking animals, clean up ground in and out, vaccinations, inventory, answering phones, checking patients in and out, stool floats, run lab work, prepare samples to be sent out, clean and wrap surgery packs, laundry) and maintain drug logs.
