Important COVID-19 Protocols
All attendees and participants in MVC will be required to show either proof of full vaccination or proof of a negative test from a medical provider within 48 hours of the event to be admitted. Masks will also be required in the Exhibit Show and the Friday General Session luncheon. Masks may also be required throughout the entire event based on CDC recommendations specific to Oakland County at the time of the event. These policies will be strictly enforced and those who are not compliant will not admitted.
If you register by November 12, 2021 the early discount will apply. Name badges and registration materials WILL NOT be mailed this year. All registration materials will be available for pickup at the conference.

Step 2. Members will not be required to enter a Password when the email address linked to the member's profile is entered.
Step 3. Continue registration by following the screen prompts until you reach the payment screen. Enter the payment and click PAY ONLINE.
Note: registrations not completed within 15 minutes will automatically be cancelled.

ATTENDEE LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK:
Attendee acknowledges the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assumes the risk of exposure or infection by attending Michigan Veterinary Medical Association’s (MVMA) 2021 Michigan Veterinary Conference (MVC), and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, disability, and/or death to attendee. Attendee understands that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at the 2021 MVC may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of others who may attend the event or their families, colleagues, or others with whom they may have contact. Accordingly, attendee understands and agrees that this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of MVMA, its employees, agents, sponsors, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in the 2021 MVC. Attendee hereby releases, covenants not to sue, discharges, and holds harmless the MVMA, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from any such claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto.
In addition, while in attendance at the 2021 MVC, attendee agrees to comply with all COVID-related procedures that may be implemented by CDC, MDHHS, MVMA and Suburban Collection Showplace, including, but not limited to, mask-wearing and social distancing requirements and restrictions on certain activities that carry higher COVID-related risk, in order to protect as much as possible, the health and safety of all 2021 MVC attendees.
Attendees must show their vaccination card before they will be permitted to check in. Attendees must be fully vaccinated to fulfil the requirement. That means you must be at least two weeks past receiving your second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or two weeks past one dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. If you do not meet this requirement, proof of a negative viral test (NAAT or antigen test) issued from your healthcare provider or a public health official within 48 hours of the beginning of the event will be required.
Please know that the MVMA is working very closely with the Suburban Collection Showplace and expects the 2021 MVC to happen on December 2-5, 2021, as planned. However, if we are unable to host this in-person event safely, the format may change to virtual or the date will be moved. All cancellations MUST be in writing. A $50 cancellation fee will be assessed for any and all cancellations submitted by Friday, Nov. 12, 2021. From Nov. 13 until seven days prior to the event, a 50% refund will be given for any cancellation. No refunds will be given for cancellations submitted seven or fewer days from the start of the event. Should an event be canceled by MVMA, full refunds will be issued in a timely manner. By registering, attendees agree to MVMA’s COVID protocols and disclaimer.
CANCELLATIONS / REFUND POLICY:
If you click cancel on the payment screen, only the payment is cancelled (not the registration). To cancel or correct a registration please put your request in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Standard Cancellation Policy:
- All cancellations MUST be in writing (email@example.com).
- Unless specifically stated differently on registration materials, a $50 cancellation fee will be assessed for any and all cancellations submitted by Friday, Nov. 12, 2021.
- From Nov. 13 until seven days prior to the event, a 50% refund will be given for any cancellation.
- No refunds will be given for cancellations submitted seven or fewer days from the start of the event.
- Should an event be cancelled by MVMA, full refunds will be issued in a timely manner.
Attendees must wear their own identification badge. Badge sharing, splitting, and copies are prohibited. There is a $5.00 charge to replace a lost or forgotten name badge onsite at the MVC.
By registering for the MVC, you agree to MVMA's use of promotional photos in or on their website or newsletter.
