with Casey Robinson, DVM, Director of Clinical Excellence, IndeVets
It is estimated that burnout in veterinary medicine causes $2 billion in lost revenue each year, making it a hot topic in the industry. Burnout also leads to reduced quality of care, compassion fatigue, mental health problems, and lower client satisfaction. This presentation will outline the impact of burnout on both sides – for doctors and clinics – and show how staffing solutions can help decrease burnout, enable clinical excellence, and improve the bottom line. Research shows preventing doctor burnout will save a clinic on average $17,000 – $25,000 each year.
