Dr. Dana Tatman-Lilly obtained her Master of Science degree in nutritional sciences (University of Wisconsin, 2000); worked as a researcher for four years then attended veterinary school at Michigan State University where she received her DVM in 2008. She completed a small animal rotating internship at two large specialty practices in the Chicago area and then returned to mid-Michigan where she has been practicing small animal medicine since. Dr. Tatman-Lilly is passionate about feline medicine and behavior thus has: ISFM Advanced Feline Behaviour for Veterinary Professionals certification with distinction, CVE Feline Medicine Distant Education Certificate, and FelineVMA (formerly American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP)) Cat Friendly Veterinarian Certification. Dr. Tatman-Lilly is on the executive committee with the MVMA, served as the 2024 MVMA president, is Chair of the Small Animal Series; she also volunteers for the FelineVMA on various task forces.
