ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Dr. Sayles graduated from Michigan State University in 1997. Her first job was walking ponies. She knew in the first grade that veterinary medicine was going to be her career, and took the steps to make her dream come true. Dr. Sayles started here in 1997 and purchased the clinic in 2001. She has the support of her husband Nick and her daughter Katie. Through the years, she has owned a rat, finches, goldfish, ducks, chicken, a rabbit, dogs, and cats. Dottie, the Chihuahua, was rescued with a broken leg that Dr. Sayles repaired prior to adopting her. Her special areas of interest are in ophthalmology, behavior, and surgery.
