ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Dr. Sarah Shull earned her DVM from Michigan State University in 1999 becoming a general practitioner active in the community and local professional organizations in West Michigan. In 2015, she joined the MSU Veterinary Medical Center as head of the Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Service and in 2016, she joined the MSU CVM faculty team as an Assistant Professor. She continues those two roles at present. In 2021 she completed her residency through the American College of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation and became boarded in 2022. She is involved in teaching in all 4 years of the DVM curriculum, both in preclinical and clinical courses. Her research interests include physiologic parameters of exercise, studying movement and injury prevention in sporting dogs, especially hunting and field dogs, while collaborating with other specialties. She also is actively involved as a judge and competitor in many dog sports.
